Farm ActivitiesGuests staying at our farm can enjoy the following activities. |
Tractor RidesThe highlight of the day for many guests staying on our farm is the daily tractor and trailer ride with Farmer Mark. He will take you on a tour around our farm stopping on the way to feed animals. This usually ends up at the farm shop feeding the animals there and having a complimentary cup of tea and a chat.
Feed The AnimalsHelp feed farm animals such as calves, lambs, pigs, goats, chicken, rabbits, guinea pigs, wallabies, and shetland ponies. Lambing season is always popular, children are welcome to help with bottle feeding the lambs.
Experience Farm LifeHelping hands are always welcome, don’t forget your wellies!!! Collect the eggs from our free range hens. Make friends with our friendly dogs, they would much rather play with our guests than do any real work!!
Children's outdoor play areaFor children and our younger guests we have an adventure playground with swings, climbing wall and slide situated in an open space central to the cottages.
Games roomAn old stone barn is home to the games room with pool table, table tennis and table football – all of which can be enjoyed by guests free of charge.
Fishing LakeWe have a one acre fishing lake stocked with rainbow trout at the farm, set within 40 acres of land devoted to the encouragement of natural fauna and flora creating a haven for a number of uncommon species of birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and wild flowers.
We have rods and lines available for our visitors use and the trout taste delicious on the barbecue so why not send the children out to catch dinner! |
